We are Igalas in the diaspora, registered as a non-profit organization in the United States. We view our role as that of a catalyst for positive change. It is our hope and desire to bring about a paradigm shift that will engender unity of purpose, cooperation, and understanding among our people. Such that will translate into a better life for our people and the generation to come.
Established in 1999, Igala Association USA as a non-profit organization is committed to fostering unity and progress among the Igala community residing in the United States. Our mission is twofold: to support and empower Igala individuals and families in the USA and to extend humanitarian aid to our homeland.
Our Programs:
Education and Scholarships: We believe in the power of education to transform lives. Through our scholarship programs, we provide financial assistance to Igala students pursuing higher education in various fields. By investing in their academic pursuits, we aim to create a brighter future for our community.
Health Assistance: Health is a fundamental human right. Igala Association USA is dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for Igala individuals both in the USA and in our homeland. We offer support for medical expenses, access to healthcare services, and health education initiatives.
Medical Supplies Donations: Access to quality medical supplies is essential for maintaining good health and well-being. We collaborate with healthcare institutions and organizations to donate essential medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and communities in need, both locally and in Igala land.
Partnerships with Institutions: Collaboration is key to achieving our goals. We actively seek partnerships with like-minded organizations, both within the Igala community and beyond, to amplify our impact and reach. Together, we work towards common goals of community development, education, and healthcare.
